Who We’re Looking For
We’re interested in hearing from people who:
- Hold a valid PCV licence (Category D or D1)
- Have an up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
- Possess a professional and customer-friendly attitude
- Are reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Take pride in safe, responsible driving
- Are flexible with availability and willing to work weekends or evenings when required
Experience in coach or minibus driving is preferred, but we also welcome applications from newly qualified drivers who share our commitment to great service.
Based Locally, Driving Nationally
Our depot is based on the border of North Wales and North West England, with most work starting from the local area and covering destinations across the UK. Whether you’re based in Flintshire, Wrexham, Chester, Liverpool, or Manchester, we’d love to hear from you.
Ready to Join the Team
We’re looking for an experienced Coach (PSV) Technician/Mechanic to join our workshop team at Keane’s Coaches – where keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and road-ready is just as important as getting passengers from A to B.
Operating across North Wales, North West England, and the UK, our fleet includes a wide range of PSVAR-compliant coaches and minibuses ranging from 16 to 70+ seats. To keep everything running smoothly, we need a skilled and proactive mechanic who takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out regular inspections, services, and MOT preparation
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Completing safety checks in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Maintaining accurate job cards and defect reports
- Occasionally assisting with on-road breakdowns or urgent repairs
- Working closely with the transport team to keep downtime to a minimum
Who We’re Looking For
- You have experience working with PSVs, HGVs, or fleet vehicles
- You hold relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance)
- You’re confident with diagnostics and fault-finding
- You take pride in your attention to detail and high standards
- You can work independently and manage your time effectively
- You understand the importance of safety and compliance in passenger transport
- A PCV licence would be a bonus but isn’t essential. Above all, we’re looking for someone dependable, practical, and solution-focused.
Workshop Based – Locally Grounded
You’ll be based at our depot in the Mold area, near the North Wales and North West England border, with easy access to Chester, Wrexham, Flintshire, Liverpool, and Manchester. Occasional travel for roadside support may be required, but the bulk of the work is depot-based.
